14 years and 2 beautiful girls later

February 23, 1996 It was a cold day but a beautiful day. A great day for a wedding. Yes that is right 14 years ago Troy and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Even now I still remember the feeling of the temple and wonderful day as if it were just a few days ago. Things have changed over the years. We are both older, I have added a few pounds same as Troy (he hides it better by being taller), we both have added some gray here and there and most of all have added two very busy but fun loving girls to our lives. Yes things haven't always been roses but if you think about it what is? The past few days I have been thinking about how much my life has changed and how I am truly grateful and blessed to have the life that I have. My Heavenly Father has watched out for me, guided me and given me strength when I have needed it. Also I have to say I have been even more blessed with beautiful daughters who can make me laugh with just a quick smile. My husband yes I have my days but really he does make me laugh a lot and really you have to have humor in your marriage. I am also grateful for my family, my parents, my sister and sister-in laws and my brothers. It's funny I am the oldest child in my family but to be honest sometimes I really like that my brothers act like "big" brothers. I have a terrific ward and great friends whether old or new. All in all I would say I am very blessed. I wish I had my wedding pictures on the computer..... Oh well use your imagination!

Your younger brothers will always be your big brothers cause they are taller and bigger!!! Ok, ok, but they love you more than infinity and they only want for your happiness and safety. I am very proud of the woman and mother you have become. You are beautiful sweetheart! mama loves you!

Wow 14 years! That is awesome. We all grow up a little, though I feel older Bob said he doesn't. We always need to stay young at heart, keep fun and humor in our marriage and most of all reflect and remember what is most important in life!
