Have you missed me? I haven't felt much like blogging this past month. Not sure why.... we had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. It was a little different this year for Christmas Eve on the London side with both Grandma and Grandpa both gone this year. The Schippers side had a family get together up at my uncle's home in Layton, my little family did not go up but I hear they all had a blast. My little family went to Troy's parents and had dinner opened a gift from Grandma and Grandpa and hung out. Christmas morning was fun with Kylie and Ashley, Kylie woke up first and then we went into Ashley's room and woke her up. Opening presents was hilarious with Kylie she opened the presents, was so excited and then after opening them she would clean up the wrapping paper. After opening presents at home we got ready and went to Troy's brothers home for more presents and breakfast. YUMMY!!! Thanks Amy for the yummy potatoes. After that we went home put Kylie down for nap and then proceeded to open everything the little one received for Christmas. I have to say it was pretty funny to see my husband 30 something year old and a 9 year old playing with a Little People Car Garage. Yes it was pretty funny. Anyway after that we went to my parents and had yummy Dutch Soup. Oh yummy Dutch Soup thanks MOM!!! We had a great time hanging out and just being together. Of courses we opened more presents. Thanks again Mom and Dad!!! Then the highlight of the evening was watching home movies. Not on video tape mind you, but on the picture screen reels. Oh wow, Ashley had so much fun watching. Kylie was busy as usually until baby Scott came on the screen then she was all about the baby. It was fun to watch and remember. Ashley couldn't believe how little her mommy and her aunt and uncles were at one time. We missed Em's family but know they were there in Spirit. So much fun thanks again mom and dad. New Year's eve Ashley and Kylie spent some time with Troy's parents while Troy and I went to see AVATAR. WOW is all I can say. It was a great movie and a great night out with my husband. Thank you sweetheart. Not much else to talk about. We hope this new year will continue to bless with jobs, home, health and food. We have been truly blessed in all that we have. I am grateful for my good friends, family and the gospel. I don't know where I would be in my life without the above.
PS. Pictures to come I promise.
