Thanksgiving morning do you remember?
Do you remember when you were younger what you would do on Thanksgiving morning? I do.... We all and I do mean all 6 kids got up to watch the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" then when we were little of course we would just sit around in pj's maybe get dressed and go outside, especially if it had snowed to play. I remember being younger going to my Oma and Opa's house in Bountiful. They had a beautiful home big and just fun. Oma's house always smelled so good. Baked Apples, potatoes, gravy, turkey, well you know the fixn's!!! Well this year as tradition Ashley spent the night at Troy's parents she helps grandma with Thanksgiving dinner. Of course last year we had a new addition to our family Kylie, she was almost 4 weeks old just 3 days shy of 4 weeks. This year we asked if Troy's parents could keep Kylie a little longer than normal so Troy and I could have a date night (movie time). It was really nice to be out with my husband. Anyway this morning Kylie slept till 9 am (THAT NEVER HAPPENS). I heard noises, went in took her down stairs and you guessed just like when I was little turned on the parade. She loved it!!! Her cute little eyes just lit up. She moved around the floor eating Cheerios and drinking her milk just like normal. Then she was getting tired so I laid her down for what I hope will be a good nap since we are going to Troy's parents to eat at 2 pm then sometime after going to my parents for dessert and playing time. I am very grateful this day to my family and my friends, I am grateful for the freedoms I have, for the gospel in my life and for my knowledge that everything will work out for the best. I love you all and wish you all a very, very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Sounds like a good day! Happy Thanksgiving!!
they are so fun when they are little! ENJOY the little moments and time you have with them, because they soon GROW up and GO AWAY and start their own traditions! Nice to hear you had a great day! hugs....
Kylie is getting so big, It seems like you just had her. I was never a big Parade watcher, but it was always on at my house too, My mom is a big parader! So your post reminded me of what my mom probably did when we were babies.
What fun traditions we are able to start with our own little families!! The parade idea is great!! I think I may have to try that next year! :o)
