The Fourth of July

I know it has been a while since last I posted. Sorry just haven't been feeling it and I have been busy promise. Here is from the first part of July. I will update with pictures soon too.

I have always loved the month of July next to Thanksgiving and Christmas it is one of my favs. We started our 4th off with a bang by going to my nephews baptism and birthday party. We really enjoyed spending that special time with him and his family. Later that day we went to hubby's parents for some more fun. We went to grab a bite to eat and then went swimming and watched a few fireworks that one of the neighbors was doing. Kylie wasn't too sure about them kept hiding behind hubby and Grandpa. I took her in and she just watched from the window. Then we waited for the Holladay Firework Spectacular. It was really fun, my brother-in-law and his son came over and we sat and watched them it was so cool!!! Kylie I have to say didn't like the big BOOMS. She kept grabbing my hands and hubby's hands to cover ears and eyes. So I finally put her up on my lap and just held her. She FELL ASLEEP!!!! I couldn't believe it. About 1 minute after the fireworks ended Kylie's head came right up saying "Where are the fireworks?" Yeah she liked them but didn't like them. Sunday came with a wonderful day being grateful for all that we have been blessed with. Then went to my brother-in-laws for a BBQ and fireworks. The kids had a blast just playing around, then came the popums, (you know the things you throw on the ground and make a snapping noise) the kids loved them, "the boys" hubby and brother LOVED THEM too. The thought it would be great to attack theirs wives. Yeah well it was still fun. Then came the fireworks and sparklers, now if any of you know my hubby he loves this time of year. I think at one time he had 15 sparklers going. (he said he was showing the kids what not to do.) Well it was fun, I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. Just think in about 2 weeks is another chance for family fun!!!! I love summer.



Oh yeah the real reason I logged onto to blog was to tell you about Kylie, today it was just the three of us, Ashley was out playing. Any who hubby or myself I think it was hubby sneezed. I usually say Bless you, well Kylie beat me to it by saying "Bless you my child". She really has a fun personality. That's all for now.
