Opinions
Everywhere you look people have their opinions, well I have mine and you have yours. Lately as I have talked with friends blogs, facebook or even just talking have found that things in this world are not really going well. Case in point Troy and I have different opinions on things, just like anyone, this is strictly my opinion and no one elses. So here goes....... "BIG LOVE" I know you have heard about what the show is doing this Sunday night. I do not agree with this at all. For those who do not know "BIG LOVE" is airing an episode showing an endowment ceremony. I know what the Church's stance is "We will keep going on and will not get involved with the public display of what the show is doing" ( not exact but you get the point ) The Church did say however " if individuals want to make their voice heard they are welcome to do so". Well I did I found a website that allowed me to submit a comment/complaint. I know that it may just make them laugh, however just as they are allowed to show what they think needs to be shown for the show, I have the right to say what I feel. I don't know if it made a difference at all but I still felt that is was the right thing to do. So what do you think? Can people make a difference? Well in my opinion yes we can make a difference, however it isn't over night. It will take baby steps and to be honest I think that is the best way. Feel free to leave your opinion. :)

OH MY GOSH I had no idea that they were going to air something like that. Curiosity is going to be the biggest thing about this shows airing anything that is sacred to Temple members. I will probably watch only because I am curious, and I have never seen the show but I do know what it is about. I have told people I know that I don't watch because I don't agree with the shows content and "we" LDS people DO NOT believe in it! so now you have my curiosity up! Well the bad news is, if, and I say if any of what is aired looks remotely like an endowment session, how did they get the information? and it will only make more people MORE CURIOUS about the church....asking questions to the right people will be "good news" because they will squash the publics views! OHHHH I am with you, lots of mixed emotions and anger, but let it roll.....Mandy...voice your opiniion and you will feel much better that you did. hugs...antielu
Good for you for making your opinion known. I think more people need to speak out about these things. Our church seems to be gettting more and more in the public eye these days. Maybe it will make people more curious and want to find out the truth behind the talk. We can only hope for the best...
