Baptism, and a quick trip to St George

Last Saturday Ashely was baptized a member of the church!! Troy did a terrific job. I still cannot believe my little girl is older enough to be baptized....... It was a wonderful day and the spirit was so strong. We are so grateful for our family that could be there and to our friends for supporting Ashley in her decision. What a great example she is to her cousins and friends. I love you Ashley. After the baptism we had lunch and then Ashley played with one of her cousins. She had a blast and Troy, Kylie and I had a break. As you see in the headline I did make a trip down to St. George. I went by myself and it really was a quick trip. My best friend lost her mother last Thursday to MS(multiple sclerosis). I have known this family since I was a junior in High School. I have spent many a days and nights at there home and wanted to be able to be there for my friend. I drove down Tuesday leaving Salt Lake around noon. Hit rain, snow, sleet and hail. But nothing to bad. I was able to stay with my brother Kevin and his wife Carrie. Thanks you guys it was fun. I really only saw Carrie and Kevin on Tuesday night after going to the viewing. On Wednesday I didn't even have the chance to see Carrie. She was in school all day. Kevin I did get to see and spend a little time with. It was so nice to see them, I was going to try and see my Aunt Linda but like I said it was a fast trip. By 4 pm Wednesday I was back on the road home. My friends family had heard that the storm had hit Salt Lake so we decided that we should leave together so that none of us got stuck. We were smart for leaving when we did because we didn't have any problems and I was home by 9 pm. It was a good trip but would have liked to stay longer and been able to spend more time with my family. Oh well another time. I think that is all for now.
