Today my oldest turns 8 years old. As of 9:23 pm that is. I am so proud of her. I am very excited for the day she will be baptized which will be 2 weeks from today! Wow!! Where has the time gone? It seems like she is still my little Ashley, instead she is nearly taller that I am. This time last year we had a friend party with 1 friend and I wasn't feeling so good being 9 months pregnant and Ashley just so excited about having a baby sister. Little did I know what was to come. Ashley as you can see has really grown over the last eight years. During that time we moved when she was 7-8 months old from an apartment to a house, started nursery, primary and next year will be in Senior Primary. She is a wonderful helper and loves being a big sister. She also likes that soon she will be taller then her mom. ( I know some of you are saying "Well that isn't hard to do.") I know that is true, however I would love to keep her as my little girl. Ashley your daddy and I waiting awhile for you and are very proud of you. We love you Ashley.

Crazy it's already come and gone. What an exciting day you have coming up and I'll be there shortly after you. I remember when we were both pregnant and would talk to each other at work. I was so jealous when you had her, since i still had over 2 months left. Happy Birthday (late)
